Today we look at Nigeria. Nigeria is located in West Africa and was given its name from the Niger River that runs through the country. It's capital, Abuja, is one of the most well planned cities in the country. English is the official language of Nigeria and is used everywhere from education to official business purposes. Nigeria has the second-largest economy in Africa. It is classified as an emerging market due to its rich reserves of natural resources, and well-developed financial and communications sectors. However, health care, education, and general living conditions in Nigeria are poor, and pose a serious threat to the advancing country.
